San Jose Maple Trees

ACONITIFOLIUM: One of the most beautiful green maple with large pendulous leaves. Bright chartreuse green in spring with large red flowers. Summer is medium green. Fall color, a kaleidoscope of green, yellow, red, purple. Strong structured tree to 12 feet.


BLOODGOOD: The standard for red maples. This popular upright palmatum can reach 25 feet at maturity, deep vivid red spring color matures to a chocolately-red in summer. Fall color is bright crimson. Will take some sun.

BUTTERFLY: The beautiful green and white variegated leaves light up a shady garden. This is an upright tree with twiggy growth that attains a height of 15-18 feet at maturity. In fall, the white areas turn to magenta making a stunning display. Best in shade.

SANGO KAKU: This popular maple is also known as the ‘Coral Bark Maple’ because of its showy coral is yellow with tones of red and apricot. Upright and twiggy, it can reach 25 feet at maturity.


SEIRYU: Delicate, finely cut leaves are nice bright green. It is an upright, spreading tree suited for small gardens. Mature height is 10-12 feet. Fall color can be crimson, yellow, and purplish color.
